Navajo traditional teachings is dedicated to providing traditional Navajo cultural information in a format that can be applicable today. Not only for Navajo Youth but for all people that are looking for something from a time that was perhaps a little less congested with the hustle and bustle of what life is today for most Western societies. Although our organization is large, our primary historian Wally Brown, has spent his life learning and understanding Navajo Culture. At a young age Wally participated in Medicine Man training. He also sat in the sweat lodge many times with his grandfather who was a Medicine Man. Wally's grandmother was six years old when she returned from the prison camp in New Mexico after the Long Walk. Wally has first information of what it was like for the Navajos who were there. The information is priceless and we are to a point where we will share it with anyone because it is too valuable to hold on to and not share.
