Discover the craftsmanship of Roy Huskie Jr., a Navajo silversmith from the Todích’ííʼnii (Bitter Water) clan, whose silversmithing practice reflects both refinement and intention. “Wreathed in Silver” features a natural, hand-cut turquoise cabochon set within a clean serrated bezel and encircled by a flowing silver wreath — a design that conveys protection, continuity, and being held in balance.

The open-loop silverwork surrounding the stone creates a soft, graceful frame while maintaining a timeless Navajo aesthetic. The split-shank band offers strength and comfortable wear, supporting the tall face of the ring without overpowering the turquoise itself. A small sterling bead at both the top and bottom of the wreath completes the symmetry of the piece.

Stamped with Roy’s RH bear hallmark, this ring carries the feeling of being encircled — a reminder of steadiness, safekeeping, and presence.

Meet The Artist

Meet Roy Huskie Jr., Navajo Silversmith

Roy Huskie Jr. has been silversmithing since he was fifteen years old. This puts Roy's skill level into the expert realm.

Growing up in Tuba City on the Navajo Nation, Roy learned this skill from his father.

Roy comes from the Todích'íí'nii (Bitter Water) clan.

Roy stamps his creations with RH. His favorite thing about his trade is when he sees people light up when they see what he has made for them.

Turquoise to our Diné is important.

Representing the "Blue World", it tells the Holy People... "We know where we come from".

Turquoise is a semi-precious stone.

These turquoise nuggets are stabilized to make them last the test of time.

Turquoise is also worn for protection when roaming outside of the sacred mountains.
