The Holy People will ask you what you did with your hands. Where you put them, who you helped… who you hurt. This traditional teaching is being lost as many of our Navajo experience abuse at the hands of other Diné. In the traditional way a Navajo promises to never harm other Diné with hands that should be sacred.
