It was after the shoe game when the battle for day and night was over that the plants, insects, birds and animals chose their colors.
Then humankind. The Five-fingered being was given 4 colors to choose from.
Black. Symbolic of the first world. The color that they say “if you look close you will see all the colors”...
Blue. The second world, the spiritual plane of existence.
Yellow. The third world. The earth we inhabit today.
White. The one they also say contains all the colors. And representative of the 4th world.
It’s these 4 colors the five-fingered being chose from.
Wally shares these teachings from our Navajo people. And the belief that hating any because of their skin color is only hating oneself as we are all related.
