The teaching is… Effort coupled with prayer unlocks direct help from the Holy People. It is effort or trying that teaches the lessons that will stick and not be forgotten.
The more effort put in, the more that is learned.
But this effort as the traditional teachings say… is what opens up the help of the Holy People.
According to the teachings the Holy People love to see their children put in the effort. And that effort unlocks what the Holy People can offer.
