Prepare For A Vision Navajo Traditional Teachings
A lot of Indigenous people have something they refer to as a vision quest.
In Navajo Traditional Ways, there is a way to prepare oneself for a vision or seek some higher knowledge with their deity.
This usually comes as a promise or agreement. Our Navajo ancestors made promises or agreements with the Holy People. An example of this was... the agreement to keep the language and the promise to speak the language to one another.
In the traditional way, this can be done on the individual level as well.
