long ago there was a group of people who came to be Diné, with them they brought a family of cats. These people used the cat as this clans mascot.

Those people are all gone today. Not all Diné clans had high regard for the cat. In fact there is a cat sickness that has a special healing ceremony that is performed to heal cat sickness.

The code talkers used the world mosi for the letter c to send messages in the code.
